Lucas signs for the Bison U15s

Lucas immediately catches the eye because of his size, but he has really good skating ability and soft hands, he will be a real asset as a power forward for us this season
Kevin Penny, U15 coach

We are delighted to announce that Lucas Swierc is the latest addition to the under 15 team signing from Solent & Gosport.

Lucas has been playing hockey for four years after being inspired by his older cousin. Lucas has been playing hockey at Solent and Gosport managing some impressive statistics along the way, notably in the 2012-13 season where he earned 41 points.

During the summer Lucas attended a 2 week hockey camp in Poland called the Hokejowa Szkola Zietary and was trainied by the Belgium head coach Paul Vincent and a leading Swedish coach Dag Wenstrom in a bid to improve his skills. The course was an obvious success as Lucas impressed coach Kevin Penny in his recent trail leading Kevin to say "Lucas immediately catches the eye because of his size, but he has really good skating ability and soft hands, he will be a real asset as a power forward for us this season".

On joining the Bison Lucas said "I'm really pleased to be joining the Bison and look forward to improving my skills and helping the team win".

Lucas welcome to the Junior Bison.

If you see Lucas or his family at the rink please make them feel welcome.
